Invest for impact across the continuum of capital

We propose to move the narrative beyond the dichotomy of impact investing is all commercial or all concessionary, and, instead, embrace the understanding of the continuum of capital and the opportunities that this approach brings to diverse actors that might have a role in the mobilization of capital towards impact.

The continuum of capital is a concept that positions impact investing in the spectrum of financial returns, from those investors who supply the flexible, patient, risk-tolerant capital needed to validate pilots and prove innovations before scaling, towards those investors who target market-rate returns, providing capital to scale more established impact vehicles or companies. According to this approach each investor might invest at different points along the impact investing continuum attempting to match their capital with their expectations for risk, return and impact.

In our point of view, mobilizing capital across the full spectrum of impact investing is essential to transform the economy into a more sustainable and impactful future.

Gathering’s goals:

_Inspire asset owners (HNWIs, family offices, foundations) in regards to impact investing and shed light on the opportunities that exist across the impact investing spectrum to align values with capital.
_Educate family offices and wealth advisors on vehicles and strategies that achieve a financial return while generating a positive social and/or environmental impact.
_Connect investors with impact investment opportunities in Spain and developing countries.

Fi Gathering Madrid is an in person (it will not be live streamed), by invitation only event, and invitations are non-transferable. If you wish to attend this gathering and don’t have an invitation from our team or one of our partners, you can apply for a ticket (free of cost). Your application will be reviewed by our team, which will send you the instructions to register once accepted.
